Revd. Luiz Lima – Licensed as Vicar of Christ Church, Worksop and St. Luke’s of Shireoaks on Wednesday 18th January 2017. Aged 37, originally from Brazil, he grew up by the sea and sunshine. Luiz has a background in youth work, completed his degree in Theology at Bristol University and is currently studying for a Master’s at Cliff College.
Inevitably, he likes football but also photography and music.
Luiz is married to Jessica and they have two children. They love spending time together, exploring the countryside, biking and travelling.
Vanessa has lived in Worksop all her life, teaching in local schools and Sheffield. She loves being part of a church community and seeing people coming together to worship God, caring for each other and reaching out into the surrounding community. She has over 12 years experience with Sunday school, Senior Citizen’s Luncheon club and Mums and Toddlers. Vanessa is also a licensed Reader and a School Governor at Prospect Hill Infants school. She is also a facilitator for the diocesan ‘Journey in Faith’ course. Vanessa loves spending time family and friends and has a dear old cat called Henry.

Anne Kean coordinates all the logistical operations behind the scenes. These include the administrative task of weddings, funerals, baptisms, communications and events to name a few. She is married with two grown up children, loves all things scuba-diving and has a cat!
After studying for a BA (Hons) in Biblical Studies and Theology at Mattersey Hall Christian College, Alex did an internship with the Diocese of Southwell & Nottingham’s Younger Leadership College, working on a parish placement in Bawtry and the surrounding area. He is now training for ordination in the Church of England.
