Salary: £12000 to £15000 per annum based on experience.
Hours: 20 hours per week (working pattern to be agreed but will include Sunday mornings and some evenings).
Contract: 3 years’ subject to completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months and annual performance reviews
Over the past few years, Christ Church Worksop and St Luke’s Shireoaks & Rhodesia have started a vibrant ministry with families and schools in our area and are ready to grow and expand this ministry.

About the Role
We are looking to appoint a Pioneer Family Minister with drive, initiative, vision, and an enthusiasm for building and developing the ministry with children, young people and their families in the North of Worksop, Shireoaks and Rhodesia. It is important that the person appointed has the characteristics essential for this new post: leadership, a team player, and an innovator. Equally vital will be the personality traits required for the job; creativity, enthusiasm, a living faith and the ability to empathise particularly with children, young people and their families at this difficult time. The candidate will be a committed Christian who will join our worshiping community.
The Person we are looking for:
Is a committed Christian able to articulate their faith.
Is passionate about seeing children, young people and families come to faith in Jesus Christ and thrive in their faith.
Has Enthusiasm for nurturing and seeing children, young people and families growing in faith.
Experience in planning and organizing a range of activities and programmes.
Passion for Mission, Discipleship, Evangelism, Church Planting and the Growing of God’s Kingdom.
Aptitude for creative and strategic thinking.
Adequate skills in administration.
Adequate experience of budgetary planning and working within budgetary limits.
Good IT skills (with experience or willingness to train in social media and website management).
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to act as an ambassador for the Benefice.
Willingness to work flexibly.
Experience of overseeing, training, and supporting volunteers.
understands the parish work of the Church of England.
