Originally from Newcastle, Alex lives in Doncaster with his wife Catherine, their cat Kasper and their sausage dog Charlie. He is interested in running, Newcastle United Football Club and all things computers. Not originally from a Christian family, he decided to follow Jesus aged 13 and felt a distinct calling to church ministry aged 16.
After studying for a BA (Hons) in Biblical Studies and Theology at Mattersey Hall Christian College, Alex did an internship with the Diocese of Southwell & Nottingham’s Younger Leadership College, working on a parish placement in Bawtry and the surrounding area. He is now training for ordination in the Church of England. In his spare time, he is currently training for a Marathon.
